In Feb 2011, we will be launching our first mobile App for iPhone followed by a series of exciting applications for the UK Contracting Industry. If you like our apps but not an iPhone user, dont worry. Almost every single app will be available on Android and Symbian phones as well. Watch out this space for further annoucements in near future.

 

 

Accentra Ties-up with NCC Group for Escrow Protection


At Accentra, we have long recognised that we have a responsibility to protect your investment in our software solution  and assure you of business continuity all the time.  In the last few months, we have worked hard to find a solution that would give you a completepeace of mind without costing you a fortune.  The result is our partnership with NCC Group - the world’s leading independent escrow provider.  Through this partnership we offer complete protection  for under £1000 which otherwise would cost several thousand pounds.

NCC Group currently protects over 9,000 business-critical software applications under comprehensive escrow agreements, on the behalf of licensees worldwide, including 92 of the UK FTSE 100. Under the terms of our escrow agreement we will supply NCC Group with a copy of the source code of your application which they will hold securely on your behalf. This will be updated at regular agreed intervals to ensure the source code held is always up to date and refl ects the current version of your application. In the unlikely event that we ever become unable to meet our contractual obligations, NCC Group will release the source code to you, allowing you to maintain and correct your software without disruption.

Green Pelican Pay & Bill Software Launched


Green Pelican Software is a joint venture between Accentra software and InsideOut. Both organisations are successful in their own right. Accentra provide accounting and payroll solutions to SME’s and InsideOut provide back office outsourcing solutions to the Recruitment Industry.  By working together, using Accentra’s proven payroll and accounting products and InsideOut’s 30 years experience within the Recruitment Industry, Green Pelican has been created which provides a comprehensive, very efficient and flexible back office solution for Recruitment Agencies. The flexibility of the product enables it to be used in all Recruitment Agencies – from start up’s to multi-branch Agencies and across all sectors from Industrial temps through to IT Professionals.

Web- based, Green Pelican can be made available to all your own staff, Contractors and Temps and also your own Customers giving real time information and enhanced financial and operational control. Green Pelican can host and manage the application for you, and provide an outsource service for those elements of the solution you do not want to do in-house. Green pelican is available on a license basis dependent on the number of users and processes required or on a pay as you go basis, where you simply pay as you use the system.

Accentra Payroll Accredited by HMRC for 2010-11


In July 2010 Accentra were awarded a new 12 months accreditation certificate for all versions of their Payroll software.

Accentra Accounting System launched in Eastern Europe


On 27th January 2006, Accentra Technologies Ltd. formally launched the Serbian edition of the Accentra Accounting system in Belgrade. The Serbian edition is the result of several months of interaction with the local business communities, Government authorities and the financial institutions. The software, completely translated into the Serbian language, is the first of its kind to be available in the Eastern Europe market and has been met with unprecedented enthusiasm. One aspect of the program that attracted much interest was the integrated e-commerce solution. Many companies saw this feature as a great means to enhance their market reach. See below for our special offer for customers in the U.K.

Accentra branch offices have been setup in Belgrade and Cacak - the two vibrant cities in Serbia. There are 15 staff working on product promotion & support and a dealership network is being set up.

With the new multi-lingual capability built into  the product, the company is planning to extend its wings to other emerging East European markets soon, starting with Slovenia and Croatia.

To mark the launch, Accentra has stepped into the sporting arena and has sponsored a Serbian Volleyball club in Belgrade - Zeleznicar. Apparently, this translates as “The Railmen”
