| Accentra Features - Stock Control |
|
Accentra's stock control module is designed to provide complete control over your inventory. It supplies critical information instantaneously - such as scheduling and calculating re-orders, when to follow up suppliers and more. It can even tell you how much profit you have made from a customer, product or product category. With Accentra, you can optimise your inventory levels, maximise your profit and reduce your business downtime.
Accurate cost-of-sale posting
Accentra's stock control module features a unique method of mapping each stock item to two different nominal accounts via the sales and purchase ledgers. Using this mapping routine, the program automatically activates the appropriate income account when you sell and the appropriate expense account when you buy.
Stock value update
The nominal update routine calculates the stock value for each month and posts the increase or decrease to the nominal ledger automatically. This feature ensures that the nominal ledger always accurately reflects your company's profitability.
Price lists
Each stock item can be assigned up to seven individual price codes, and each customer for that item can be tagged to specific code from this list. Alternatively, global price lists can be constructed and applied to groups of customers and suppliers.
Discounts
The discount matrix facility allows you to specify special discounts that may be applicable for a unique combination of customer, product and volume. This can be applied as a simple percentage or as a volume-based discount.
Product variations
Accentra allows you to setup variations of the same product without having to create unique product codes. For example, a fabric company may maintain the same fabric of different colours using a single product code; each colour variation can then be treated as a separate location. All movements and stock can be maintained separately for each colour, while stock reports may also be generated showing the breakdown for each colour variation.
