Accentra is a team of seasoned software designers, developers, authors, business process consultants and trainers. We work from two offices in the UK and two more in India.

Our company was launched in 1979 when we released the world’s first graphic user interface (GUI) accounting system, Systematics I. Built exclusively for Apple II computers, the success of this software inspired us to broaden our scope and create software to meet the needs of other businesses, primarily on MS-DOS and subsequently Windows systems.

In 2004, we came together under the name of Accentra Technologies to deliver one of the best enterprise solutions on the market. Armed with an extensive knowledge of the financial and payroll sectors, we developed a series of applications for various sectors, ranging from general trading businesses to the booming UK contracting industry. A few years later, we teamed up with Accountax,  a specialist tax advising company, to create a disruptive solution for umbrella companies.

More recently we have brought our industry-leading software to the cloud, offering a truly groundbreaking payroll solution for companies of all sizes as well as accountants and payroll bureaus.

We are proud of our reputation for innovation and best-in-class software.
