HMRC is helping with childcare costs

HMRC is reminding the families who are eligible for Tax-Free Childcare that they can avail the scheme that will help with their childcare costs. The families who are eligible can save the childcare money and benefit from a government top-up that will be up to £2,000 every year and up to £4,000 a year for a disabled child. There are about 308,000 families across the UK who are using the scheme and are benefited from using Tax-Free Childcare but also many are missing out on this opportunity.

The scheme is available for the parents or carers of children aged up to 11 and for the disabled children it will be 17. For every deposit into the child’s account, parents will receive some amount of top-up that can be up to the value of £500 every three months, or £1,000 if their child is disabled.
